The Sunrise Hotel

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant one, thanks to the extremely friendly staff, particularly the waiter at the restaurant, who went out of his way to help us with everything from parking to recommendations for local attractions. However, the room could have been a bit cleaner.

“EXTRA BAD”

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel, which was booked for an elderly sick woman. Unfortunately, there was a complete lack of clear information about accessibility and the absence of an elevator, despite my careful research. Upon arrival, we were given a room on the 4th floor, which was not suitable for her needs. The staff showed no interest in helping us, and we were forced to leave and find another hotel.

“Ok, man kan overleve.men ikke å anbefale”

While the breakfast was served on a plate, which was a bit unusual, the room itself was spacious. However, the cleanliness was a major issue, with a hole in the sheet and dust in the bed when we arrived. We were also told that the sheets and towels would be changed every three days, which was not exactly what we expected. To make matters worse, there was no breakfast buffet, and the stairs were extremely narrow and steep.

I was blown away by the stunning view of the pyramids, but unfortunately, the service was subpar and the prices didn't match what was advertised on the website. The breathtaking view made up for some of the issues, but it was still frustrating to deal with the poor service.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, thanks to its breathtaking views from the top and the warm hospitality of the staff. They truly made me feel welcome, and I'm already planning my next trip back to Istanbul.
