The owners were super friendly and handed us a ton of info right from the start and whenever we asked. The whole place was spot‑on clean, especially the 14‑by‑7‑meter pool that looked like it had never been used.

We’ll never forget staying with Erminia. It was a real treat to ditch the highway and spend a night in the Grisons – the village is amazing, but you have to park at the bottom and climb 100 m with your suitcase to get to the cottage, and the view from there is fantastic. We did a 5‑km loop up to the summit and it was totally worth it. Erminia, who speaks perfect French, served delicious dinner and breakfast, and her warmth left a lasting impression.
