I used to live in this area. This hotel was the original of the most expensive and best hotel in Andong when Andong Station was in front of it about 30 years ago. Time has passed, but the building is solidly built and, although its exterior feels a bit dark, it is kept clean and tidy. There are several locks, so you can lock the front door twice and the door itself twice, making it safe from sudden intrusions with a master key. The windows are large and ventilation is easy. The bedding is clean. Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, dryer, hairbrush, and water are provided. The parking lot is spacious. The city center is very close. Wyeong-gyo Bridge is within 10 minutes by car. There is a bathtub. The water pressure is strong. The cleaning is good. The cleaning lady and the counter man greet you kindly, and the bathroom is separate from the room, which is nice. Whatever you do in the bathroom doesn’t echo into the room. Newer hotels unnecessarily put glass doors and put the bathroom inside the room, which bothers me every time I use it, but this hotel keeps a proper distance. I recommend it. The bidet is missing but that’s fine. At first it felt colder than a hot ondol, but it didn’t feel cold while sleeping. I don’t know how to raise the heater temperature, but it didn’t bother me.

It’s a rather older hotel, but it has everything you need. The beds were hard, but we still slept very well. The room was very hot because of the floor heating, but they turned it down a bit for us. Free parking and the old town with restaurants and market is right around the corner.

The location is close to restaurants, shopping streets, and food streets. Other than the hotel looking dated, everything else is good and the staff are extremely nice and helpful, giving great recommendations for food and shopping.
