The villa’s spot was unbeatable and the place turned out to be far more roomy than I’d imagined, stocked with practically every kitchen tool you could need, spotless, and even had a little outdoor seat. The only downsides were a broken tab that holds the blind cord, blinds that were a tad stiff to raise or lower, and some mold stains, which I guess is normal in tropical weather. The kitchen also missed tongs and a small baking dish, but there was a small saucepan nearby so it didn’t matter.

The location was close to Atherton and the surrounding area. There was no internet, which was disappointing, and the price didn’t feel justified. The cabins only offered free‑to‑air channels, no smart TVs for streaming from a phone. The bed was very hard, and there was no daily housekeeping. The cabins were too close to the highway, so traffic noise was loud. At night, there were cockroaches in the bathroom, and the bathroom light/fan made noise that woke us up whenever we needed to use it; a separate switch for the fan would help.

The two‑bedroom unit was spacious, clean, and comfy, and it was very quiet—everything else was already great.
