The hotel is in the town center, but the fact that the rooms are underground and that wasn’t mentioned during booking is annoying. The staff replied, “we noted that the room had no balcony”—does “no balcony” mean it’s underground? I doubt it.

It’s in a strategic spot in Peñiscola, and despite that it’s almost completely quiet.

Parking could be clearer on the website. You have to register your license plate 24 hours in advance, then you must park in the city (24‑hour parking) which is pretty expensive. The hotel itself is nice in the old town.
