“Krásný starý dům v centru”

We lodged in a beautiful old house, in a small room with its own bathroom and a toilet on the hallway. The spacious room was clean, and the fridge and the option to make coffee or tea were welcome. Thanks to Mr Bork, we felt at home, so a big thank you again for everything! For an objective assessment I must say that our room had windows overlooking a busy street. It didn’t bother us, but closing the windows would have reduced the noise significantly.

The location was good, the reception with the code worked perfectly and the SMS arrangement with the owner was fine. The bathrooms were nicely large. The house had a certain charm. The accommodation, in my opinion, did not match the photos and description; it was confusing… For example we didn’t have a balcony, the toiletries were diluted hand soap, I expected separate rooms but we were in one flat, and I didn’t expect that other people could walk through the hallway (the “Family apartment” experience was different elsewhere and I didn’t anticipate this). The bathroom for the apartment on the hallway couldn’t be locked from the outside (or we simply couldn’t manage it). I understand that the property emphasizes historical features, but some things seemed more like “covering up” what shouldn’t have been visible… The stove in the laundry room threw us off a bit :) The Wi‑Fi connection was very weak (sometimes none), street noise was loud – if you have a family room, the windows face the street and the church bell rings every hour, so you’re constantly aware of the time.

Everything was fine. I think the rooms were a little overpriced

We stayed only one night and that was fine. The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and that was all I needed. Luckily we were not there during a heat wave, but in the summer the attic room was a hell.
