The spot a block from the harbor is great, and the price‑quality ratio is solid. We came in low season, so it was very calm, but I feel it gets noisy when there are many guests because the rooms face the outside corridor, which offers nice views from the fourth floor. There’s no elevator. The back wall hit the backrest, and the shower was a bit broken. Still no elevator.

I liked it; it’s in the center, the staff are friendly, everything was spotless, and the price‑to‑place ratio is excellent.

The room was clean, but everything else was terrible: there was no fan, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all (connecting was pointless because it never reached the internet), and the biggest rip‑off was the front desk demanding a higher price than what was shown online, claiming a third‑party system and saying the listed rates weren’t the hotel’s real rates (I’ve been in Guatemala for two months and always book through the same site). When we tried to pay, the clerk made it clear we had to pay cash or cancel the reservation and cover the cancellation fee, otherwise we wouldn’t get the room. After they took the money, no one ever returned – no reception staff, no housekeeping. I would not book here again.
