The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location was perfect - just a 10-minute walk to the train station.

The owner was super friendly and helpful with any issues that came up.
I felt like I got a really good deal considering the quality of the room and the service.

The warmth of Mrs. Elvira was appreciated. The property was clean and very charming.
I was extremely disappointed; in over 15 years of using the booking portal I’ve only twice encountered a disastrous experience. I booked this place for two nights for three people—my partner, a friend from London who came specifically to see the Coast, and myself—and was given the upper floor with two separate rooms and a bathroom inside one of them, plus I had requested parking. Parking on the Amalfi Coast is a nightmare, so having a guaranteed spot was the main reason for the stay. After a day of mishaps we arrived at the property around 1 am, parked where the owner had instructed, and at that moment another couple showed up claiming they had also booked the same spot. They called the owner, who, apologizing, gave the space to them because they were acquaintances and even offered them a discounted rate, promising to refund us if we had already paid. Despite this inconvenience, I never received a call that night; the owner could have simply called us, apologized, and helped find a solution. The couple left us wishing us luck with parking, but there were literally no spaces nearby at all. We ended up driving around for three hours in the night, exhausted, angry, and sleepy, trying to make the 7 am alarm. Finally, at 4 am a spot opened up almost in the town centre, a 40‑minute walk from the hotel. After the parking drama we found a dirty house filled with bags and random items strewn in the common area, as if someone lived there rather than a guesthouse. The communal table was covered in paperwork, the shared bathroom was locked, leaving only my friend’s room bathroom available—so where would the other guests go? The bathroom in my friend’s room was full of hair, the rooms were dusty, and my partner, who is allergic, kept sneezing and breaking out on his skin. Even that was the lesser evil compared to the lack of a decent night’s sleep and no nearby parking. Mistakes happen, but the favoritism shown to the other couple should have meant we received the same courtesy, an apology, and an immediate solution. We travel a lot and leave reviews, so this treatment was unacceptable.
“Perfect Stay in a Spacious Room”
I stayed in a massive room with everything I needed, and the communal area was lovely too. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the location was perfect - just a 10-minute walk to the train station. The owner was super friendly and helpful with any issues that came up. To be honest, I couldn't find anything to complain about, but the room was a bit pricey for what you got.
Excellent location, a cozy room with all the essentials.
The location and room cleanliness are great. The bathtub is a bit uncomfortable; the slanted ceiling makes it hard to wash standing up without splashing everywhere.
