The place was filthy—walls and bed skirts had stains, and the rooms had a horrible smell.

The location is perfect, just north of the boardwalk, but the motel is old and has cracks and other problems.

The pool was spotless and the beach was just a minute away, but the room had a moldy odor, stiff beds, and pillows that flattened the moment you lay your head on them; there was no elevator and the shower water pressure was awful.
