The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location worked well for my plans. The building was under construction, the decor felt outdated, and while the room was clean it carried a wet‑dog odor, making it feel more like a dorm than a hotel room.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room and bed were comfy, and there was plenty of coffee and milk. The only downside was the lack of a water bottle.

Good location, close to the train station without hearing the trains, close to pubs and the town centre, friendly welcoming staff. Not really a superior room, tiny bathroom and shower, a squeeze to sit on the loo, dirty marks in the bathroom and a pubic hair on the cistern. The sink tap was tight to operate and wobbly. The whole bathroom was grubby, the blinds let in quite a lot of light, only 1 pillow each. The maid only changed the bath mat, didn't change the mugs or any towels
