The accommodation suited me, having everything I needed. Functional air‑conditioning, fridge, microwave. For the price, the room was quite large. The location was quite ideal, only a 20‑minute walk to the main station. Bus stops were just past the bend (1‑minute walk), and the metro was the same. The staff were quite friendly, and the gentleman at reception brought me a cup even to the floor.

I’m not a fan of Kyoto as a first‑time visitor, and this place didn’t help; an unexpected charger tax popped up, the service was subpar, the room wasn’t clean—my wife kept sneezing and felt ill all day—and the lighting was dim and just unpleasant, but the location is decent.
