The hanok was characteristic and in a great spot. The owner lady was very helpful. The room was truly small and you could hear everything from the neighboring rooms; but since it’s an original 100‑year‑old house, that’s inevitable.

“Beautiful experience, we stayed for three nights, would definitely stay here again”

The location was excellent. Breakfast was exceptionally wonderful. The hostess was very nice, always available, and personable. The room was a delight and felt like staying in a hanok from a century ago. There was a clever way to lock the room door from the inside using a spoon. The walls were thin, and on the first night a very loud snorer next door made it noisy.

“A room in old, traditional hanok building”

The room was in an old, traditional hanok building (the owner said the building is 100 years old) located in the hanok village, with a friendly owner and nice surroundings. The room was small for a three‑person family, there was no parking, the bathroom was old‑fashioned and small, the mattress was hard, and breakfast was poor.

“Must-Stay Hanok in Jeonju”

The hanok sits just off the main shopping and eating street, yet it remains quiet and peaceful. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it had an ensuite toilet/bath. Breakfast was simple but delicious, prepared by a hostess who was very friendly and helpful. She called a taxi for us, walked us to the main road, and waited for it to arrive, even making sure the driver got our destination right. Highly recommend if you want to stay in a hanok accommodation in Jeonju. Nothing negative; the stay was 10/10 perfect.
