The room is small, convenient, and cosy. The kitchen area lacks a basin for washing cutlery.

“The quality was in line with the price paid.”

The room had everything I needed, the bathroom was great and the toiletries were top‑class, and the hostess was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t find a clear sign for the entrance guests should use, and the part of the property where the guesthouse sits looked sub‑par, making me doubt my choice. There was no safe gated parking, so I had to leave my car outside, which wasn’t mentioned on the property.

The spot is spot on, spotless, and exactly what we were after—great value and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Thanks a lot. The only thing that would have made it perfect is a small heater to soften that chilly Montagu night.

“Neat and tidy .landlord was very friendly”

I didn’t have breakfast—self‑catering was fine. The place was okay, nothing short of great, maybe just a toaster or an iron would have been nice.
