The bed was very comfortable, but as a UK citizen I was asked for ID at reception; the “cooked” breakfast was stone cold; the shower door didn’t fit properly, causing the bathroom floor to flood, and two tiles in the shower were cracked.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in London, within walking distance of Covent Garden and all the theatres; the breakfast was decent but not the best I've had at a Hilton; I appreciate the extra security, like having to tap the room key before using the elevators; I didn’t like how my check‑in was handled—my booking was under a nickname linked to my email, so the front‑desk staff couldn’t check me in because my full name wasn’t on the reservation; they eventually got the manager, who, despite me having all the booking details, a reference number, and the card used, suggested I might have to cancel and call back to sort it out; it was resolved eventually but caused distress for me and my friend; the bathroom was the smallest I’ve seen in any hotel.
