The employees were polite, yet everything else was truly awful and almost fraudulent in scale. The rooms were completely different from the photos, utterly shabby and very dirty! The room door could not be locked, leaving me feeling very uneasy.

The staff were extremely helpful, using a translator for me since I didn't understand English or Korean. The location was close to the station, the bathroom was available, and there were chairs, a table, and even a hair iron, so I stayed multiple nights without any inconvenience.

The hospitality at Hotel Maru was honestly beyond what we expected. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, patient and caring throughout our entire stay. They were always available and willing to help with everything, even when it took their time and energy. We truly felt that they cared about their guests, not simply as customers, but as people. The room was cleaned every single day, and every day we received three bottles of water, fresh towels, coffee and tea. There was also free Netflix and YouTube, a computer for gaming, and even a very convenient wardrobe where you could place your clothes and have them dried/ironed. These little details made the stay so comfortable. I especially appreciated the air purifier, which was a wonderful addition and made the room feel fresh and comfortable. The room was also very peaceful and had such a comfortable atmosphere. Even after being out all day, coming back to the hotel felt relaxing. The reception was available 24 hours a day, which made everything very easy and reassuring. The location was also excellent — in a pleasant and relatively clean area, only about a 4-minute walk from the subway station. There were laundry facilities, supermarkets and other useful shops nearby, so everything we needed was within easy reach. But more than anything, it was the feeling of the hotel that we loved. It had a peaceful, warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us genuinely enjoy coming back every day. Honestly, our experience was overwhelmingly positive.
