The location is perfect for the Enshi Canyon, and breakfast is very comfortable and tasty every morning. The hosts were very helpful and arranged lifts around the area.

The property is simple but comfortable, and it’s only a 10‑15 minute drive to the Enshi Grand Canyon entrance. The hotel owner makes the stay worthwhile, being super helpful and kind; we felt like we had a personal tour guide, and he was wonderful.

The room was nice and spacious, and the staff took care of me, cooked delicious meals using vegetables from their garden, and brought me to the entrance of the Grand Canyon, which was nearby. I enjoyed chatting with the family and had a good, quiet time there. You can catch a bus near Enshi Railway station to the entrance of the tourist center of the Grand Canyon for 25 yuan, and from there either take a DiDi or ask the owner. The shower didn’t have enough pressure, but they will fix it.

The room itself was solid and right by the Grand Canyon, and the owner was genuinely friendly, doing his best to chat even though his English was limited. The only drawback was the distance from the city centre, which meant a longer drive if you wanted to explore downtown. Overall, a good base for canyon lovers.

I really appreciated how welcoming the owners were – they were ready to help at any hour and even cooked massive, unbelievably tasty meals for me on several occasions. If you’re visiting in December, expect the canyon nights to get pretty damp and cold; a spare blanket made all the difference. Apart from the chill, everything else was spot on.
