The terrace was pleasant. The room we received had a small window overlooking roof tiles on the top floor. A sign told us to keep the window closed to avoid spiders and insects and to use the air‑co. Besides the disappointing lack of view, I would suggest adding an insect screen so that a bit of fresh air could be available.

The place was very upbeat and very clean. We had a room on the top floor with a great view, but there were too many stairs.

The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. It was a stopover before heading to North Wales, and I would recommend it without hesitation. Breakfast was good, but the extra charges for fruit juices seemed a bit unnecessary. Still, it remains highly competitive compared to other places these days.
