I really liked it, but the front‑desk service left something to be desired.

Breakfast was decent and the location is great; the lady at the desk, Tia, was very rude when I asked a simple question about check‑in and the bathroom, but she was different and nice when I returned with my husband. We usually stay at Hampton Inn anywhere, but this time I would never come back to West Haven CT.

I had to wrestle with a very heavy door that was a pain to open.
