It was a lovely situation. The room was clean and really comfortable, the staff were really friendly and the food was amazing! We had dinner and breakfast and were so impressed with both. Our second visit and hopefully not our last! Nothing to not like.

The hotel sits right near the M6 exit at Tebay and the staff were friendly. It’s also very dog friendly, though the bathroom felt a bit cramped.

Lovely location and the chalet was well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. It had a quaint charm. Poor choice of vegetarian evening meal. Poor TV reception

Breakfast was excellent. Staff were excellent. The en‑suite facilities didn’t appear clean but I think that the age of the building inhibited a spotless clean; maybe a total facelift is needed. See above.

The annex was incredibly quiet, right next to the pub, and the staff were polite, helpful, clean, and the rooms were comfortable. We brought three dogs, so the dog‑friendly policy was a big plus.
