Our stay at this hotel in Montreal left us disappointed. The front‑desk staff sometimes lacked warmth, forgetting to say hello on a few occasions. We also would have liked clearer notice at booking that the bathroom was shared. In the room, a lamp didn’t work, the room couldn’t be ventilated, the bedding and towels had a strong chlorine smell, and we found stains on the duvets. In the bathroom, the number of towels was insufficient, the shower mat hadn’t been replaced daily, and only one soap was provided for everyone. Added to that a certain level of nighttime noise, the overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations.
