They switched from a hotel to a retreat, so there’s no food, drinks, or breakfast. The rooms lack AC, but you can relax if you plan your meals and be ready to travel far from town.

Stopped here while heading to Silverstone from the north, only about 30 minutes from the track. The rooms are beautiful with huge bathrooms and plenty of car chargers, a big plus. The only downside was the ground‑floor room that couldn’t open its windows wide for security and had no fan on a hot evening. The hotel has shut its bar and restaurant and now operates as a room‑only place, but there’s an excellent pub in the next village and a great café just down the road for breakfast, so that’s fine.

Nice rooms, but the place claimed no breakfast yet we were told after a non‑refundable booking that there’s no food in the building. A coffee shop down the road was closed on Monday. The rooms were stifling and very hot, with heat rising from the floor; we were given a fan but it barely opened the windows. Whenever we needed cold water, it stayed hot for 5‑9 minutes before cooling. No other guests were around, and the village felt like a ghost town. It seems they only want yoga retreat or therapeutic guests, but there was no food available and evening meals were a few miles away. I can’t recommend it and will look elsewhere when visiting friends.
