The spot is great for a quick visit to Torquay, and I could park my car right there. The host was super friendly and the service was top. The room was tiny and the stairs were cramped because the whole building, like the rest of the neighborhood, is very narrow. For a longer stay it’s not ideal, but that was clear before booking, so it doesn’t affect my score.

Everything was perfect, with bus stops right outside for routes to Kents Cavern, Model Village, Babbacombe Cliff Railway, the Harbour, Torquay Station, Paignton (and the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway), and Brixham. A short walk gets you to many restaurants—Thai, Chinese, English, Greek, Indian, Harvester, Weatherspoons, etc.—and the bars are pleasant and friendly. For me, the location was flawless.

The location was spot‑on and parking was free. We stayed in room six, which was spacious and clean, with a lovely ensuite that had a walk‑in shower. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and everything hot. Everything was fine.
