The staff were professional and courteous, and the location fit our travel plans perfectly. The room felt a bit rustic but was very clean and the bed was comfortable, giving the lodge a warm, inviting vibe. I usually book last‑minute spots for hunting trips and was pleasantly surprised by how nice this place was compared to others I’ve stayed at.

The location and property were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful, keeping the place peaceful even on the busy highway. The studio layout felt odd, so I’d return but ask for a different room—preferably one with a back patio.

The hospitality, cleanliness, and the natural beauty of the area—especially the pristine Trinity River that runs right through the lodge’s backyard—made us want to come back for sure. It’s close to Shasta, offers plenty of sport fishing, and is just minutes from Weaverville. Indian Creek Lodge has generous rooms with kitchenettes, a lovely spacious and well‑maintained property, a great swimming pool, and a games room. Clean, convenient, and affordable.

“Great location, great staff, plenty of coffee and spotless. I’d return with the hope of a new mattress”

Location, location, location along the Trinity River. A huge lawn stretches all the way to the river, and there are multiple bar‑b‑q’s for guests to enjoy. I think one could safely swim there. A bit of traffic noise, but the only real complaint I have is that the King mattress has outlived its usefulness; I could feel the springs and it was much too soft.
