A lovely veranda surrounded by the forest, lots of natural light in the room, and a large dining table. The sink in the toilet is ridiculously tiny, even though there's plenty of space; there was no private shower (there is a shared one, but nobody told us where it was unless we asked). The kitchen is very basic, and there wasn't even a dish sponge—just a dirty rag. I slept on the bottom bunk and woke up feeling exhausted because the mattress was terrible. There is no proper system for handing over the apartment key in case guests are delayed on the way.

“Kalasgod vild mat!”

The menu was very interesting with game dishes—elk and bear—cooked to perfection. The place is clearly a winter paradise; a touch of summer décor, like tidying the courtyard and adding some plants, would have been nice.

The location is extremely quiet in the middle of nature yet easily reachable by car, with plenty of parking. The large room is beautiful and comfortable, the fitness room, small pool, and restaurant with tasty food are all great.

The rooms in the forest felt fresh and luxurious—what a calm! The spa area was small and cozy, and we were lucky to have it to ourselves. The breakfast was dull, though.
