“Ok but room's need some repairs.”

The location was great, but our room faced the restaurant extractor so it smelled like KFC, which wasn’t the staff’s fault. The remote didn’t work and there were a lot of stains on the floor. When I emptied the bath, water started coming up the carpet in the room and seeping out the skirting board; I’ve never seen anything like it and it soaked everything on the floor in my bedroom. When I mentioned it to reception, the staff told me this wasn’t the first time they had been told and dismissed me—just get it fixed!

“Good value and great location.”

The hotel is in a good spot close to the train station, bars, and restaurants, and the breakfast was well worth the price, but there’s no air conditioning and the rooms facing the road are noisy.

“Okay and served the purpose but unlikely to stay again”

I loved the location, but half the lights in the room were out, there weren’t enough towels for the three of us, and with a 3‑year‑old daughter it was hard to settle her because of the outside noise.

The breakfast was good, but the parking at the hotel is too small and I had to find another spot; it wasn’t clear if parking was free—booking listed £10/day, yet reception said it was free for customers.

“Thoroughly enjoying”

Everything was fine—parking for cars is a bit tight but manageable, the staff facilities were good, and breakfast was excellent.
