My room was spotless, the air‑conditioning worked fine and the bathroom was a good size. All the basics were solid, so I was comfortable.

The room and linens were spotless, and the front desk staff were genuinely helpful. The pillows were annoyingly thin and the coffee at breakfast was terrible, while the pastries could have been better. Early one morning two people were chatting on a bench with ashtrays right outside my ground‑floor room at 5 am; I complained, they took the ashtrays away and the disturbance stopped.
