I liked the location because there's a great pub nearby, but the motel in NZ only offered a self‑contained room with a bathroom and a shared kitchen, which was a bit inconvenient.

The bed was comfy and the room stayed warm, but the couch felt a little uncomfortable, though the service was still acceptable.

It was a great spot for an overnight stopover, and I appreciated the room upgrade; the shared kitchen had a full complement of appliances, the room was clean and warm, and it was handy to the local restaurant.

The place was very peaceful.

I got good value for a stopover, but a little fridge would have helped keep the milk fresh, or individual long‑life milk would have been useful.
