Sayuru Villa

We were thrilled and easily extended our stay by 4 nights; the room was huge and spotless, and from the balcony we watched hummingbirds and chipmunks. The baker Tuktuk passes right outside the front door every morning, and next door we could buy water. Its beach‑side location and the shaded train tracks made for great morning jogs. The only downside was the loud train passing by, though it didn’t bother us much, and the host only spoke a little English, yet she was still very helpful.

“Spacious stay with a lovely family”

I really enjoyed the start of my Sri Lanka trip here; the apartment with its bathroom was spacious, just a stone’s throw from a nice beach, and the host family was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, too. I’d definitely recommend it.

I liked the apartment a lot, it’s well‑situated near the beach, fully equipped in the room and kitchen, and the shower has hot water. The host is pleasant and kind, and she cooks tasty breakfasts. The price‑to‑quality ratio is good.

“Lovely Guesthouse”

The guesthouse is very nice, and the hostess is truly lovely. The train line isn’t far; with the window open you can hear it clearly, but it’s fine when the windows are closed.

“Lovely homestay with modern rooms!”

The room is very spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking greenery—great for watching birds and local critters. The homemade breakfast was amazing, and the family homestay was super kind. We loved staying here, away from the busy main road.
