The reception was extremely friendly, warm and even a bit humorous, and the location turned out better than I had imagined for exploring parts of Biel. Breakfast at the restaurant was very generous and I felt right at home. The room itself didn’t offer much—maybe there was a lime on the bed—but everything else was fine. I was only staying for one night on the way to somewhere else, and that worked out well for me. I also figured out a bike storage solution, so that was sorted too.

The hotel is very central, super comfortable near the city, with a spacious room and a good Indian restaurant right below the building. The staff were polite, though not especially fluent in other languages. All in all, it’s a solid choice for short stays and the price is reasonable for the city average. The building feels rather old; several things like the bathrooms and the carpet need updating. Parking is paid in a self‑storage facility, and there is some street parking in front, but it’s only available from early morning, is paid, and has a time limit.
