The central spot is the biggest plus, and the reception and breakfast staff were extremely kind, offering a wide selection and delicious pastries in a wonderful room. The room itself is small but comfortable, yet some unpleasant details: the locker with sliding doors is very hard to open and close, and the window door opens onto a tiny terrace that offers no view because it’s surrounded by high walls.

The hotel is centrally located and very nice, with a breakfast room decorated with frescoes that felt like a time capsule. The staff were professional and friendly, making for an excellent experience.

The location is superb, set in a beautiful historic building with a grand staircase and painted vaults, just 200 m from Piazza Grande. Because the hotel is in the historic center, there’s no parking; the nearest spot, at the funicular, is 400 m away.

Breakfast was excellent in a lovely frescoed hall. The staff were very helpful, and the room was welcoming and comfortable.

The central location is a plus, and the staff are welcoming. The building feels historic and hard to renovate, which is unfortunate; the room is basic, the bathroom is very small and needs updating.
