There’s nothing to brag about and nothing to complain about—just a solid place to spend a night or two, so a 7 rating fits. It’s a pretty old‑school hotel; I felt like I’d slipped back in time. The staff asked me to leave the key at reception when I stepped out. We were traveling as a couple, got a twin room with two separate beds, and one bed’s leg was wobbly, even though it was a super low season and the hotel was almost empty.

The family‑run hotel had friendly staff, though only a handful spoke English; it sits across from the beach on a one‑way road that isn’t too busy. There’s no dedicated car park, but street parking nearby is ample. Our two‑person room was sufficient, with plenty of cupboards so we didn’t have to unpack our luggage. The balcony looked out over the sea and sunsets. Breakfast was continental but offered cooked items like scrambled and boiled eggs, bacon, and cake—those cakes were delicious! The lunch and dinner menus were small, yet the food was superb. The Wi‑Fi didn’t reach our room and was only intermittent, but it worked fine in the bar and restaurant.
