“Decepcionados”

Nothing impressed us at all – everything was poorly maintained and shabby. The reception staff reeked of alcohol and wore a mocking expression, and the check‑in took far too long; the whole place was filthy, with grimy stains everywhere. The room was dreadful: my daughter had to sleep on a broken bed, and our double‑room was substandard, far from the online description, with stained sheets, a broken air‑conditioner and ancient wiring that felt like it could catch fire or give an electric shock. At night we were forced to keep the window open onto a street where a noisy dancing bar operated until dawn, with people drinking, using drugs, shouting, and a lot of street‑level prostitution and homeless folks – it felt like a scene from a slum. The bathroom stank and looked grimy, we were three guests but only one dirty towel was provided. Breakfast looked like reheated food, and the restaurant area was equally filthy. The hotel desperately needs careful restoration and deep cleaning; I cannot recommend staying here before serious improvements are made.

The location and value for money were good. I stayed at this hotel for a long time and the facilities, cleanliness and rooms were never exactly top‑class, but the price still made up for it. However, during my last stay in August 2026 I felt the place was even more run‑down. I noticed a major lack of maintenance in several hotel facilities, which made the experience quite different from before. Unfortunately, given the current conditions, I do not plan to stay here again.
