“Great for a low budget, but don't expect any frills.”

Convenient location, very nice staff behind the front desk. The facility is a bit run down, has the feeling of a cheap hotel. No refills for coffee or shampoo. No room cleaning service

“Perfect over night stay.”

I walked a few minutes to the UC theater, and the place was spotless. The lady at the counter was super friendly, and the AC worked amazing while the shower water stayed hot. I had to park on the street, but that wasn't a big deal.

The location is great, and everything is within walking distance. The owner is a wonderful lady.

“Fantasic value!”

It’s uncommon to find such a great experience at a budget hotel; the price was much more reasonable than other options then, so I didn’t expect much. I was pleasantly surprised to see someone at the desk after midnight when my flight was delayed; they were very friendly. Parking was free and the room was very close to where I parked. I could put a do not disturb sign up and there was zero intrusion to my privacy. I adjusted the air conditioning to my liking, the bed was a huge California king and very comfy, and the shower was excellent. A menu on the nightstand led to a sub being delivered thanks to that helpful marketing. It’s an excellent place to stay in Berkeley, with great location and value—I’ll be back!
