The vibe at the beach and around the resort is fantastic, with solar power and Wi‑Fi, and the Masaman Curry is the best I've had. The downside is the black sand, the sandflies and mosquitoes, and I spent a whole day without Masaman Curry.

The welcome was great and the value for money is solid. However, be careful: there’s no water in the rooms, no toilet paper, the fan is a 50‑Bath plug‑in, the power outlet is limited, the comfort is restricted, and even the instant coffee is paid.

The common areas are okay. The overall cleanliness is poor, the mattress has moldy, “inhabited” spots, the bar next to the hotel (named Le Tsunami) belongs to the same family and blasts music until midnight (like going to Phuket.), and the so‑called sea view is not real; the roots are fine, but not here.
