I appreciated how private the small rooms were, even though the bathrooms and lobby were shared. Even though not every staff member spoke English, everyone was friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and quiet, so after a long day it felt cozy and relaxing. The location was spot‑on, right in Ximen with plenty of shops, restaurants, and transport options nearby. Thanks, I’d definitely return.

The spot is solid and the room is private, but every room feels windowless and cramped—though that’s not a huge deal. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired: one shower only has a curtain, and the other two are filthy and shared by everyone in the hotel. Overall, local hostels offer better bang for your buck, or you could pay a bit more for a nicer place. It’s cheap, but you really get what you pay for.

The staff were very friendly, but the soundproofing was poor; I could hear footsteps down the hallway all night, so if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, think twice.
