Absolute rip‑off and definitely not recommended! Had we known the hotel was in the middle of a major renovation, we would never have booked it! Booking gave no word about the construction. The breakfast at €16 per person is also a sham. For these prices it’s an absolute atrocity! We feel completely ripped off and can only advise everyone against booking this hotel!

The hotel’s location with a view of the castle was a plus, but the room was filthy, the bathroom was unsanitary with a broken sink, and there was only one towel per guest. The room should not have been available until after a renovation. The breakfast was very poor for 16 € and after two booked nights we checked out after just one night.

The location was great – no car needed. Everything was very central.

The hotel’s proximity to the city centre is a big plus, and there were no other issues.

The hotel is currently being renovated, but that isn’t a huge problem; check‑in is handled through a key safe. You can see the ongoing work in the stairwell, yet the rooms are very good—spacious and with generous bathrooms. On the ground floor there’s a fridge with drinks on a trust basis. Breakfast is freshly prepared and served at the table, and you’re welcome to request anything you need. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is central, so you can walk to many places. The only downside is the renovation, which means occasional compromises that barely matter.
