The room was clean (except for two large spiders) and the bathroom was pleasant, yet the reception was cold upon arrival at 22:00, even though the owner had been notified and agreed to a late check‑in, officially allowed until 22:45. During the two‑night stay there was no smile or sense of welcome, and the staff made inappropriate remarks such as “you triggered all my alarms” in a reproachful tone because accessing the breakfast area wasn’t obvious. I walked around the property to find the entrance, asked the owner how late I could have breakfast, and she replied curtly “what time?”. I said 9:30, and she answered “9:30? Really? We close at 10, so we don’t go beyond that!” The room faced a busy road, was very noisy, and the walls were thin, so I could hear the TV from the neighboring room. Both windows were wide open on the second night when I arrived, making the room cold. The breakfast was uninteresting and the products were low‑quality.

The property sits right next to a busy road, so nighttime traffic made it noisy; the rooms stayed hot, and opening the windows let in bugs, amplifying the road noise. A ceiling fan or a static fan would have helped, and the breakfast selection was limited.
