The room was exactly as advertised—just a Saturday night over a pub!
“Ottima locanda per una tappa veloce a st Andrews”
The room was clean, comfortable and in a good spot, but there was no bidet.
The bathroom had a window, was clean and well lit, though a bit small. The hotel offered very few extra services: there was no reception, no breakfast option, and no other meals during part of the week. The room was clean but cramped and too small for two people, and the price was too high for what it provided.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel sat just outside downtown by the water, a nice spot to start our walking tour of the town and golf course, but the room was sparse, the bed was very uncomfortable, it was extremely noisy because of the pub next door (I didn’t know that when I booked), and the walls were thin.

However, there were no vegetarian options for dinner, no breakfast, and the bar was noisy in the evening until quiz night finished, after which it was very quiet.
