Breakfast, accommodation, and location were superb. The staff were super friendly. Dinner was exceptionally good and varied. We’ll definitely return to the hotel/restaurant "Schwarzer Bär" on our next trip to the Saale-Holzland-Kreis.

It was very difficult to get in touch with staff. We had to ask others where to reach them, and we couldn’t find the “night bell” mentioned without help.

The location is spot‑on for the motorway, ideal when traveling. The restaurant is nice and the nights are quiet. It’s a shame they don’t allow dogs.
