We spent eight nights in Oberammergau and were welcomed by the owner with great warmth and cared for until departure, making our stay feel very comfortable and family‑like. The location was perfect, close to the town centre yet very quiet. We had a room with a balcony offering an unbeatable view of the mountains, and a parking space right in front of the door. We have nothing to complain about.

The setting is beautiful in this picturesque town, and the air is absolutely calm. The accommodation is a kilometre from a fantastic swimming stadium, and many cable cars operate nearby. The only downside was the lack of a small kitchen and a fridge in the room; there is one downstairs in the common area, but that’s not ideal.

The place is well‑situated just outside the village centre, yet only a ten‑minute walk to reach it. The room is spacious with a balcony. It would have been nice to try the breakfast. The only flaw was the pillow on the bed, which in Nordic countries is feathered and feels more like a sack.
