“The whole place is infested with bed bugs..”

The place is in a good spot, the staff are friendly, and there’s a kitchen with cooking facilities. Unfortunately, the room was infested with bed bugs, crawling everywhere and on my arms and legs like pin cushions. They need to spray the male dorm urgently. The beds were packed too close together. If you leave a negative review, the owner blocks you from staying again, which seems unfair. I’d rather sleep on the street than return.

Phil was super friendly and welcoming, showing me where the showers and toilets were and explaining all the door codes. The price was reasonable, the location was great for the city centre and the railway station, and overall it was good value for money.

“Took the money, cancelled the booking, never refunded. Official complaint with booking.com ongoing.”

Nothing positive. The property cancelled the booking a few hours before check‑in, saying they’d reallocate me elsewhere, but they never did. They promised a refund of the difference but never paid it.

“Uncomfortable stay”

The location is convenient, close to the train station and easy to access with just a pass code—no key needed. The kitchen had enough facilities. However, the rooms weren’t ready until 9.30 pm even though I checked in at 2–3 pm. They were still being prepared and sprayed for pests, and the smell lingered that night. I couldn’t stay another night and left without a refund. The night was uncomfortable, there was no proper storage for luggage, and the open area had no lockers, so I didn’t feel safe leaving my bags for a day’s trip. I wouldn’t recommend it.

“Terrible experience due to bed bugs and sleepless nights.”

Only the location was convenient. The bed was infested with bed bugs, making it extremely uncomfortable and preventing me from sleeping at all. Hygiene and pest control need urgent attention.
