We loved the location and the setting. Being in those little cabins, without electricity, the shower among the trees and all the small animals was really nice. Kookie was super cool, helpful, and gave good advice, plus he has a great scooter! The breakfasts were also very good! I definitely recommend Shanthi for a surf lesson, a real professional! In short, it was a great place; we stayed 3 nights. There was no charging point at all.

Great camping on the beach. Very relaxed vibe, easygoing. If you’re prepared for camping without a fan and electricity, it’s a wonderfully quiet paradise. With kids who want to eat at a fixed time and don’t handle heat well, it was a bit more challenging.

Right on the coast, but this place is really shabby; the cabanas look nothing like the website photos. There are no nice seating areas or hammocks—just a few old plastic chairs. The beach itself is unappealing. When we arrived, we found the spot was overbooked, so we had to leave again quickly.

We loved this stay. Koki was super friendly and attentive, helping us out, and we had a great time with him. The cabins are excellent, as are the shower and toilet facilities. Waking up or going to bed with the sea right next to you is simply fantastic. The meals are very good and the breakfasts are excellent. This hotel is undoubtedly our favorite of the trip. We even got to see the sunrise from the beach—it was beautiful, so we recommend it. We strongly recommend this hotel. On the downside, you still need to like dogs and want some peace away from the lively center of Arugam Bay.
