The house had many shortcomings, was outdated, everything was in bad condition, damp and dirty, and the price was far too high for what it offered.

The house is large but a bit neglected; it isn’t dirty but doesn’t look pleasant and smells very damp or closed in, and overall it feels somewhat boring.
