“Lugar bonito pero sucio”

I loved the location, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the place was truly beautiful. However, the storage area for dishes had cockroach eggs, so we got some as well. The bathtub and floors were not completely clean, and the service was not great, so for the price you could get something better.

“Nice place for a romantic getaway or visit to Mérida”

This is a lovely place! It’s small, but very homely. The private pool isn’t as secluded as the photos suggest, but it’s still a great spot to hang out and cool down.

“Disappointing”

The building itself looks nice, and the garden plus the little private pool right in front of the room are pleasant. But the towels were a problem: we only got two medium ones, and when we asked for another (a hand towel, maybe?) the staff said that was the standard for a one‑night stay. I also pointed out there was no hair dryer in the room, yet they insisted it was in a cupboard that was full of useless items like dishes, even though there was no kitchen. The room was decorated with beautiful coffee‑table books, yet when I tried to open them they were dirty and glued together, as if mold had set in. The curtains don’t block daylight, so if you need darkness to sleep it’s not suitable. Worse, we couldn’t lock the door, so when we went out for dinner we had to hide our valuables because we feared someone could get into the property. Overall, the stay was unpleasant, especially since the property didn’t help with the towels, hair dryer, or keys.
