“Great stay.”
The location was great. The staff were very helpful with a medical issue and with bag storage. The room we had was a little small.

The hotel was neat and spotless, but I was disappointed to find no dryer—apparently they forgot to include one.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right in the center of Cusco. We couldn’t try the breakfasts because we were on very early tours, and they offered us a box lunch. The rooms are very good, with heating since the temperature drops at night. Just note that there’s no elevator, and some rooms are on the third floor. There are lights in the hallways that guests must turn off at night, and if they don’t, they stay on all night, which is a bit annoying in the rooms.

The location was good, but we arrived at 6:30 and were told check‑in was at 2 pm, with the promise that if a room became available early we could enter. We went around at about 10:30, asked again, and the front‑desk guy said the room wasn’t ready; seeing my annoyed face, he then claimed it was free and that we’d have to pay an extra $10 in cash, even though a moment before he’d said we couldn’t until 2 pm. That felt disrespectful to customers, especially since it’s a business. We had breakfast included and requested take‑away because we were on tours, yet every day the sandwiches were cold, without butter or a proper sandwich—just bread with ham, no drinks, and a banana that looked unpresentable. On one day the sandwich had no cheese, and the only beverage offered was water. If that’s what they’ll serve for breakfast, they should omit it from the package—it was TERRIBLE. When checking out, the same issue happened with two tourists who’d arrived at 6 am with heavy luggage; they asked if the room next to ours was available and it was, but the staff said it wasn’t. Later the woman asked if early checkout was possible, and she was told yes in an hour, but again an extra $15 had to be paid in cash, as if the employees were keeping it. The whole experience felt like a terrible scam for what we paid.
