It was a stopover during a long journey; we also took a quick detour through Passau. The city center is about a 30‑40 minute walk away, and the town itself is beautiful.
“Prima hotel.”
The hotel room was tidy, the beds were good, the bathroom was nice, and the air‑conditioning worked. Breakfast was also well organized. The son of the family arrived earlier and had to pay for the room, but since we booked as parents the cost was covered for us; we felt it wasn’t very friendly that our son couldn’t use the room until payment was made.
“Gute Lage, für Kurztripps empfehlenswert”
They were flexible to visitors' requests, friendly, and helpful.
“Für eine Nacht insgesamt okay, allerdings mit den genannten Mängeln.”
We stayed for one night, and for a quick stop everything was fine overall. The only issues were that we were given two single beds instead of a double and we spotted a cockroach on the wall.

Breakfast was sufficient and good, and the beds were very comfortable. The location on the mountain is a bit far from the city, but the bus connections are good.
