“Très bel établissement, mais très excentré”

We stayed at a very attractive traditional property set in a secure complex; the rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped, and the real highlight was the large, beautiful pool – a real treat. Breakfast was pleasant, and when we asked for fruit that wasn’t on the first morning’s menu, the person preparing it kindly added fresh fruit the next day. Marcel was extremely welcoming, meeting us at the train station, helping us arrange a day’s sightseeing with a driver who took great care of us. The hotel is quite far from Chiang Mai’s centre, about a 20‑25 minute taxi ride, which makes trips back and forth inconvenient; there’s no dedicated shuttle, so you rely on taxi apps, and with six of us (two adults, four children) it sometimes required calling two cars. Breakfast service began around 8 am, and on two mornings we had to leave early – once for an excursion and once for departure – so a grab‑and‑go box would have been nice, especially since the rate included breakfast, but nothing was offered. Aside from that, we enjoyed a very good stay.

The surroundings were beautiful, the neighborhood quiet, and the complex safe. The swimming pool was great, and breakfast was excellent. Nothing else was an issue; it fit my needs perfectly.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with a beautiful breakfast and a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel's decor was lovely, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the wifi was a bit unreliable, and the mosquitoes were a bit of a problem. Still, it was a great value for the price, and we would definitely stay here again.

This place has a fantastic location - close enough to the city, but far enough to escape the noise. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sound of birds singing. It's a great opportunity to stay in a traditional Thai-style home. The owner was super helpful and responsive, even when he wasn't in the country. There are plenty of things to see and do in the area. The owner also offered us a visit to his wife's farm, which was a real highlight. Overall, I highly recommend it.

“Beautiful place, great stay if your main focus is not visiting Chiang Mai”

We loved our stay at this beautiful resort, with its stunning room and balcony, perfect for taking in the views. The relaxed atmosphere and swimming pool were just what we needed to unwind. The only downside was that it was a bit further from Chiang Mai than we'd anticipated.
