The staff were friendly and polite, the rooms were spacious, and the breakfast was tasty. However, the dinner we booked felt a bit underwhelming for the price, with rather small portions and not really Ecuadorian.
The facility is great, and they run a volunteer service for local children. Prices aren’t very cheap but are reasonable. The food is excellent, the rooms and showers are well organized, clean, and have hot water. Wi‑Fi is superb. There’s a paid laundry service.
The room, the reception, and the market tour guided by the host were all good. The breakfast buffet needed better stocking; when we arrived at 8 am there was nothing left—no fruit, bread, eggs, fruit juice, or cheese; all dishes were empty.
