The blankets were fine. Unfortunately, the room had broken windows and it was very cold at night, the fireplace smoked the whole room, and there were no working outlets in the room.

The spot is spot‑on – right in the middle of everything you’d want to walk to. The only real hassle was the shower; you couldn’t dial in a comfortable temperature, it kept flipping from scalding hot to ice‑cold. Otherwise, the location made up for that inconvenience.

I slept like a log on a solid, comfy bed and the hotel’s location was convenient for getting around. Unfortunately, the pool was filthy, the toilet didn’t even have a lid, and the hot water was hit‑or‑miss. Parking was scarce and only on the street, and there was zero security despite the place being open 24 hours.

The shower was a pleasant surprise – strong pressure and a good temperature range. The downside was the décor: everything inside looked pretty old, with worn‑out furniture and dated finishes. Still, for the price you get decent value if you can overlook the retro look.
