“Peaceful getaway in the French countryside”

Beautiful and quiet property just minutes from Beynac, the Marqueyssac Gardens, and other nearby Dordogne attractions. Stephanie was an incredible host and chef, getting to know her guests and providing a delicious breakfast spread. We used the pool daily which was an appreciated respite from the unexpected heat wave, and especially loved hanging out with the B&B’s resident puppy Atlas!. We visited during one of the earliest/worst heat waves in years and while the B&B doesn’t have air conditioning, the thick limestone walls and Stephanie’s hospitality (she switched our bedding to a summer blanket and brought in a fan from a cooler room) helped us stay as cool as possible

What a find! We stayed for 3 nights and the host was amazing, as were her breakfasts. The building was beautifully renovated to an exceptional standard. The location is ideal for exploring that part of the Dordogne, and if you’re lucky you can even take a balloon flight because the husband flies his balloon from the property. Would we stay again? Yes, we would.

“We are so happy we stayed here!”

We spent a wonderful three days in the Dordogne at Hauts de St Vincente. Stephanie was very hospitable and gracious. The property was beautiful and the room was clean. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was enjoyable; I had a cappuccino each morning and got to meet other guests. We were 20 minutes from Sarlat le Canada and just a few minutes from the other villages.

“Perfect stay in Pericord at charming B&B”

We stayed 3 nights at this exceptional property, enjoying the exceptionally comfortable bedroom with its marvelous panoramic view and the common areas, and the delightful filling breakfast. Stefanie was a perfect host, providing great travel advice and good humor during our stay. The location gives perfect access to Beynac within a few minutes, and other nearby towns… Certain to stay here again. could not be improved.

“A fantastic property stay in a great location with wonderful people.”

The property is located less than a 5 minute drive from the historic castle of Beynac and a 20 minute drive from Sarlat-La-Caneda. It is an excellent base for exploring the Dordogne with multiple small villages, chateaus, and castles within a 30 minute drive. Many archaeological sites featuring cave paintings are less than an hour away. A beautifully restored 18th century farmhouse with very clean rooms, modern bathrooms, enjoyable common areas, a heated swimming pool, and carefully maintained grounds makes for a relaxed and comfortable stay. But the best thing about this property are the proprietors. Fabrice owns and pilots hot air balloons with the flights launching from the field behind the property. Stephanie is a fantastic hostess. As is to be expected, she is gracious and the comfort of her guests is the top priority. What was impressive is how she went above and beyond when I was having trouble with the shipping company that the airline used to send us our “delayed” luggage. She took it upon herself to handle the phone calls, spending quite a bit of time on the phone with customer service and handling emails with the company over the three days it took to resolve this issue. Finally, she refused my attempts to leave a tip or to compensate for the time she spent on this issue. We will not forget her kindness and generosity. A minor inconvenience was the claw footed tub with shower. While aesthetically pleasing, the tubs bottom was very narrow which made balancing while taking a shower a little precarious. The absence of a drain plug meant using it as a tub was not an option.
